COURSE DESCRIPTION
Dr Zafer Tokatli demonstrates technique of Retrograde low tension Bilober HoLEP. Early release of apical tissue helps to reduce tension of mucosa and hence decreases incidence of sphincteric injury.

Instructor
Dr Zafer Tokatli
He was born in 1974. He graduated from the University of Ankara, School of Medicine in 1998 and then completed his urology residency at the same university between 1999 and 2004. During the residency, he attended a clinical research program at Vienna University. He later worked on male sexual health as an observer researcher in the department of urology-andrology at Tulane University (New Orleans, Louisiana, USA) in May 2003. Following specialization, he went on to work as a urologist-endourologist in several private hospitals. His special interest has been in the fields of Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS), Robot-Assisted (Avicenna Roboflex) RIRS, Mini-Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (mini-PCNL) and Holmium Laser Prostatectomy (HoLEP) since 2004. He performed and organized Robot-Assisted stone treatment for educational purposes in a number of countries throughout the world. He is a member of Turkish Urology Society and Turkish Endourology Society
