A 49 years old female patient underwent retroperitoneal tumor excision revealing swannoma 6 months ago. She developed bilateral hydronephrosis and had elevated serum creatinine level at 1.46 mg/dL.
Bilateral JJ stent insertion was decided.

Dr. Tzevat Tefik
Tzevat TEFIK graduated from Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine, English Programme at Istanbul University in 2004.
He has completed his residency at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology in 2011 and until 2021 has performed and attended more than 4800 genitourinary surgeries, most being endourological procedures.
He was board certified in 2011 and become Fellow of European Board of Urology. He was endourology fellow under supervision of Professor Olivier Traxer in Sorbonne Université, Pierre et Marie Curie Paris VI, Tenon Hospital, in 2015.
He received the title Associate Professor of Urology in 2017 and has internationally authored more than 50 publications, in addition to over 250 presentations in national and international scientific meetings. His h-index is 14 and was cited more than 460 times since 2021. He is co-editor in chief of the Journal of Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and academic editor in the PLOS One and BMC Urology Journal. He is member of the Faculty Board of Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. He is associate member of EULIS, member of International Alliance of Urolithiasis, founding member of PETRA Urogroup along with Professor Olivier Traxer and founding member of Kidney Stone Academy along with Professor Kemal Sarica.
He helped to establish the PNL and RIRS continuous programme in 2015 at Istanbul Medical Faculty and is the head of the Lithiasis Centre at the Department of Urology since 2020. He has established the urinary stone disease diet outpatient clinic in 2021 and running outpatient urinary stone disease clinic since 2021. Prof. Tefik still continues to work as a lecturer at Istanbul University, Department of Urology and is extensively teaching urinary stone disease.
