Name: Prof Vigen Malkhasyan

Professor Vigen Malkhasyan  graduated from St. Petersburg First Pavlov State Medical University  in 2003 and completed his residency in urology in 2006 (St. Petersburg). In 2013 he obtained a PhD degree from Russian University of Medicine (Moscow). From 2019 till 2023 worked as head of the Urology Department of Clinical Hospital named after S.I. Spasokukotsky (Moscow). He was appointed as professor of Chair of Urology at Russian University of Medicine in 2021. Since 2024 he possesses position of  Head of Urology Department of Moscow Center of Urology at Botkin Hospital, Moscow, Russia. His professional interest areas are: endourology, stone surgery, BPH surgery, laparoscopic and robotic kidney surgery. He is a member of the European Association of Urology (EAU), Russian Urological Association (RUA). Also he is a member of National guidelines board on Urolithiasis in Russian Urological Association and Vice-Chairman of the Profile Commission of  Russian Ministry of Health. 

Professor Malkhasyan has authored more than 100 publications in Russian and International scientific journals and books. 

He is engaged in teaching process of medical students and residents in urology.
