Name: Dr. Steffi Yuen

Dr. Steffi Yuen graduated from the University of Hong Kong. Since joining the urology faculty team at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and New Territories East Cluster, Dr Yuen’s main area of interest encompasses endoluminal endourology (BPH and stones) and minimally invasive surgery.

Dr Steffi Yuen has brought about international exchange and collaborations as a Japanese Urological Association (JUA) scholar. She has also completed the International Fellowship in Robotic surgery, ECIRS, PCNL, RIRS at Seoul National University Hospital’s Specialized Endoluminal Endourology & Stone Center under Professor Sung Yong Cho. 

Dr Yuen is committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical care and promoting patient awareness of urological health via various channels, including social media. She has helped built and pioneered the LUTS/BPE pathway in the hospital cluster, bringing together the whole spectrum of MIST – from Rezum, Urolift, iTIND, Aquablation to enucleation of prostates to LUTS/BPE patients. She is also a certified trainer for Rezum and Asia's first certified trainer for iTIND.

Her vast exposure gives her first-hand experience in the latest technologies, upcoming trends and skills in endoluminal endourology. She is excited to bring about this new era of endourology -  the emerging robotic RIRS and PCNL platforms, innovations of flexible ureteroscopes, next generation of flexible and navigable ureteral access sheaths (FANS) and laser technology.
